100 Sales & A Feature!

We just got home from an extremely adventurous trip from Fawnskin, snow there was super deep! Or at least it was deep for us city people. The cabin that we rented was buried in snow and we had to dig out a tiny space by the sidewalk to park the car. It took us four long hours to make that space! Then we had to trek up a hill of snow, boots soaking, hands all cold and wet, and dig up a trail to get into the cabin. It was all good, tiring, fun! ^_^

What surprises me when we get home? My 100th sale on Etsy! YEY! ^_^ The card that sold, the Puppy Love Pop Up Card, was featured on MyShoppingConnection.com as part of their Valentine's Day-themed treasury called Puppy Love {handmade center stage}. The feature is right HERE.

Off to 7 Feet of Snow We Go!

All giddy snowboarders here in Cali have probably heard of it already, but it's been pouring powder non-stop up in Snow Summit. 7 feet worth of snow in approximately a week's time! The hubby and I are so psyched, we can't keep ourselves put - at least not sanely. We're going snowboarding for the weekend!!! WHOOOOT!!! I'm doubly psyched since I just learned how to carve last weekend. *INSERT HAPPY DANCE HERE* Look at what's waiting for us...

Now, isn't that simply gorgeous? I'm in love... And to top it all off, we'll be staying up there till next Tuesday. It would definitely be a lovely long restful weekend for us. I hope you guys out there have a great one, too!

The Friend That I Lost

I have this customer on Etsy who reminds me so much of a friend that I lost. I don't know... It's probably the surname. I don't know many people with that surname, you know? I miss my friend. So I guess, whomever out there knows these eyes, please let my friend know that he is missed.

On a lighter note, I have this other customer, heartlolabean, who has given me a project so inspiring that I couldn't even see the bottom of my desk from all my paper cuttings. Thank you so much Heart Lola Bean! Because of you (and the beautiful rain that's keeping me hostage), CookieBits will be getting new uploads the next couple of days. It was wonderful working on your cards. I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

It's been raining nonstop in my neck of the woods for two days now. Though it seems like the rain is so angry, it wants to wreck our garage door into pieces, I'm grateful that my newly planted hydrangea is getting her fair share of watering. The poor thing prettified our house during the holidays, and what do I do to her? I forget about her under the scorching hot sun in our patio :-( I'm so attached to it that I've actually started calling it a her. Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of her during her glory days. Hopefully, she bounces back soon after all this healthy rain she's absorbing.
